Dear Tom,
T just want to say first and formost: KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK? ae a Loo © gate ieee ae
As the largest dealer for TS products left in the Northwest (to the best of my knowledge), I am happy to say that I am a strong supporter of the THOMAS B. WOODS PRODUCT LINE. No I don’t want any favors. I am just stating the facts.
Two things I would like to see, however. They are:
1) T am enclosing a check in the amount of $16.95 for which I
“would like-a fully updated version of PROFILE 2068. I tried to = enter all the modifications in the manual and could not get the actual data sort routine to work, and, as I use PROFILE for
about 80 % of my work each day, I really could use that routine.

2) As more and more of my customers buy the A&d MICRODRIVES I am getting more and more non-programmers asking me how to convert PROFILE to operate through the A&d interface. Have you printed a patch to do this as you did for the other I/Fs? If not I hope that it is forthcoming.

3) (Oops, did I say two?) As I said, I am a TS dealer and I do sell your products and tell my customers to subscribe to UPDATES all the time. I am currently getting your products from BYTE-BACK CO.. I wonder if 1 could deal direct and if so what are the prices and quantities for dealer purchases?
I hope to hear from you soon.

WATOR Simulation Software for TS1000/1500
Experiment with the ecology of predators and prey on a watery torroidal planet. Plots HI-RES population curves on the TS2040 printer. Based on an idea presented in Scientific American, October 1984. Provides insight on predator/prey relationships. A serious mind probing game, a useful tool
for study, and the humorous documentation leaves you rolling in laughter. Fantastic graphics! A very unique presentation on the TS1000. On cassette ....Just $16.95
EXPERIMENTOR'S UNIVERSAL INPUT/OUTPUT PORT
This 1/O board works with all Timex or Sinclair computers. Gives 8 bits of input, 8 bits of latched utput plus two strobe lines for handshaking. Designed with the experimentor and electronics
{ Inkerer in mind. Female connectors accept standard headers, crimp on male pins (a supply is included with the board), or solderless breadboard type connections for temporary hook-ups. Easy to configure and reconfigure many times. On the TS2068 use machine code or the Basic IN and OUT commands to access the port. On the TS1000 use machine code only (NOTE: Extended Basic described above lets you use this board with BASIC!). A series of applications programs all designed to teach you the ins and outs of I/O programming will support this port. The first three titles are described below. Use for motor controllers, sensors, alarm systems, weather stations, robots, etc. Price for port board: $69.95 Buy 2 and SAVE: $109.95 ORDER A PORT BOARD AND SELECT AN APPLICATIONS PROGRAM BELOW ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!
MORSE CODE TRANSLATOR for TS2068
Use the Experimentor's I/O Port, this program, a tone decoder, and a short wave radio. Tune in morse code on the radio; the computer prints English on the TV screen. This translator is the only one
that actually tells you how it works! Add a new dimension to your short wave listening. Learn the theory and concepts of programming a computer to make sense out of seemingly chaotic signals. Studying for your ham license? MORSE CODE TRANSLATOR teaches morse code far better than other methods. Watching the letters form on the screen and hearing the sounds at the same time makes learning morse at any speed easy. NOTE: This product requires the use of a tone decoder circuit
which you can build yourself or use a commercially available unit. tape/text: $16.95
PSEUDOSCOPE for TS2068
A signal analyzer for the Universal I/O Port that mimics the action of an oscilloscope. Digital signals fed into the port are plotted on the screen in a horizontally scrolling graph. Use to monitor signal quality and timing in applications such as the morse code translator above. This “program demonstrates several useful machine code techniques involving moving graphics and using IM2 on the 2068 without modifying the computer's hardware. Very useful to port programmers in decoding unknown low frequency signals such as morse or RTTY. On tape: $16.95
PARALLEL I/O DATA COMMUNICATIONS
This program is the feature article in Pro/File Updates October 1985 issue. With the Universal I/O
Port, you can send data back and forth between the TS1000 and the TS2068. This product provides the software enabling both computers to exchange bytes of memory. Use your TS1000 to store programs and... data for your 2068. This software provides the foundation for a very sophisticated operating system. } Designed to be incorporated into your own Basic or machine code programs. Requires 2 port boards
(one for each computer). Two programs/documentation: $16.95
32K NON-VOLATILE RAM EXTENSION FOR THE TS2068
Now you can plug more banked memory into your 2068 cartridge slot. But this 32K RAM is much more than just a memory. An on board battery keeps the memory alive even when you turn the computer off. Switch selectable for use in the DOCK or EXROM bank with NO mods to the computer. Write protect switch lets you use this memory like an EPROM cartridge. You can store Basic programs in this memory and they run automatically when you turn the computer on!! Programs run from the DOCK bank free up the entire HOME bank for variables!! Reduce or eliminate loading time. Gain 32K more memory for data storage. A beautiful, rugged board. Gold tipped, solder masked, coated for static protection.
rte oa explain basics of bank switching methods. Wired and Tested, battery included:

HOT-Z AROS CARTRIDGE SOFTWARE
The unbelievable just got better! This Z80 assembler/disassembler/single-step debugger is now on cartridge. Runs in the dock bank so there is never a conflict with the programs you use it with. New functions include built-in print drivers for the 2040, TASMAN and AERCO printer interfaces, EPROM burning utility for use with the Oliger EPROM programmer, Full bank switching abilities, Help
screens for every mode. Best of all, its instant loading!! HOT-Z AROS is a "must have" item for all machine code programmers. With other computers, you'd pay $400 for a similar program. HOT-Z AROS on the 2068 is a bargain. Only $69.95
